Added to that, any club in the lower leagues have the book thrown at them for any & every misdemeanour. They receive fines, points deductions & transfer bans for even the most minor issue.

Imagine the damage to 'the best league in the world ' if it turned out that some of the big players had been playing hard and fast with the rules.
