Average Possession and Passing Per Game By Manager
Further to the right: higher average possession per game Higher up: More passes per game
Notes:
A sad trend and the facts behind the decline of the Swansea Way. It's no coincidence that there's a clear trend line coming down from top right to bottom left, and barring caretakers Curtis and Britton, they're in chronological order.
Shots per game average, comparing shots vs against.
Further to the right: more shots per game Higher up: more shots conceded per game
Notes:
Laudrup again the clear winner here, more shots per game and fewer shots per game conceded than the likes of Rodgers and Guidolin. Both Carvalhal and Clement way down on shots per game in single figures.
How many shots per game do we have by manager? How many of those shots result in goals? How clinical were we under each manager?
Further to the right: more shots per game Higher up: better conversion rate (percentage of shots scored)
Notes:
Laudrup, as we know, with the highest amount of shots per game average, but a low conversion rate. Carvalhal might have the lowest shots per game average (barring Leon Britton who was only in charge for 2 games) but he's way in front of conversion rate. We had to be quite clinical under Clement too, with a higher conversion rate than both Rodgers and Laudrup despite fewer shots per game. Bradley's stats are also interesting, with the second highest conversion rate.
