Charlton v Swansea Sat 1 Nov 15:00
That man is back again, this time at Charlton.
Former Brighton, Luton. Stoke and Southampton manager, a Merthyr boy and Cardiff City fan, Nathan Jones is now at Charlton. Last May he guided the Addicks to promotion from League One through the play-offs and they have made a good start in the Championship, presently in 6th place on 19 points.
Jones is considered a nemesis by most Swans fans primarily due to his outspoken support for our arch-rivals, Cardiff City, combined with his managerial successes against the Swans.
For example during his two stints as manager of Luton Town , Jones openly celebrated victories over the Swans, dancing up and down the touchline, way over the top with theatrical flair, in front of our fans.
Charlton last six games W3 D2 L1 F10 A5 - 3rd in form table
Swansea last six games W2 D2 L2 F6 A7 - 14th in form table
The next batch of games coming up will be a tough test for the Swans. Charlton away, on Saturday, with barely enough time to recover from Wednesday night and having to travel to London on Friday. Then Preston away next Wednesday (Bonfire Night) and Ipswich at home the following Saturday before the International break is upon us once again.
