Charlton Home

I read that on the Spotters forum.
A bit jealous that I won’t be there.
Priestfield will be jumping under the lights.
Edit < they’ve been allocated another two hundred.
Kerching 😁
Additional £70k in the bank

Starting to look really important. Both sides simply have to win.It is often said about the ten game mark you look at the table. The team or teams who fails to win on Tuesday will be looking over their shoulders big time.

As someone else mentioned, it's still too early to form a firm picture of where you can or will finish on the league, given that Palace were once in the bottom three of the Championship by Crimbo 2003 and finished 6th by May (although they went on an incredible run of form under Iain 'Earthworm Jim' Dowie).

But Tuesday still has the feel of an early six pointer.

Two Charlton STH at work reckoned that if they lost yesterday and to us on Tuesday Adkins would be a goner by next weekend.

There is still a remote possibility they will dismiss him by tommorow but for the fact that they narrowly lost 2-1 to Wycombe yesterday, who have one of the strongest teams in the division (they have ex-Burnley striker Sam Voakes playing up front). But the Anoraks are already turning on their new Danish chairman who might feel forced to act before Tuesday's game.

Losing to Wycombe is not embarrassing enough Gillingham just maybe.

From KM Online:

Senior striker Akinde is back struggling with the same problems as previously.
Evans said: “His scans show clear again, he has had more scans than probably Medway hospital give out in a season, but it is clear, it is a mystery to us, we feel for us, we feel for John on that front, but it doesn’t help us.”

Can anyone read subtext?

Akinde has a bout of lazycuntitous. This condition usually miraculously clears up without any treatment when a player nears the end of his contract.
