The Championship has a lot going for it. There are good teams, good performances, and a fair share of the unpredictable. There are a lot of good managers, who can get a team firing on limited resources.

I wouldn't be too sorry to see us stay here, were it not for the fact that not to get into the PL would have a long term negative effect for the club.

It's a much more competitive league than the PL so that makes things interesting. There is no way that a Stoke or Burnley could break the top 6 but Cardiff are second at the moment. There are so many teams in the running that the top 6 changes all the time. When was the last time that could be said about the PL?

Like others on here I go back to the early 60s and beyond and have thoroughly enjoyed our forays into the old division two and now the championship.
It is so good to go to the game expecting to win after five or six seasons of watching us lose most weeks.
Good to see new teams, new grounds and yes for the stability of the club we need premier league status, but I along with others have not desperatly missed the greed league.

Agree 100% with you Wittonite. It's being a refreshing change to go to all games knowing that you have a realistic chance , especially in contrast to the drudgery of the previous 5 seasons or so.

Enjoyed going to different and in some cases old fashioned grounds as well , and also with real fans , not tourists with selfie sticks etc.

Agree with all of the above . I really don't miss the prem league but accept the club needs the finances of it to stay afloat .
