So we are in Pot 2. HAs anyone worked out if that is to our benefit?
 
Personally I don't think it makes much difference, pot 1 is preference obviously to avoid 1 big gun (likely) but pot 2 and 3 can't say there's a huge difference.

2016 we were in pot 3 and got Monaco, Leverkusen and Moskow and didn't get out of the group.
2017 pot 3 and got Madrid, Dortmund and APOEL and qualified 1st.
2018 pot 2 and got Barcelona, Inter and PSV and qualified 2nd.
 
I think I'm right in saying that Pot 1 will have City (league winners), Liverpool (CL winners) and Chelsea (EL winners) in there. That leaves us with Barca, BM, PSG, Juve and Zenit.

So it's Zenit then, but a longer away trip :-)

Then from Pot 3 and 4, it's a couple of short haul easier teams preferably. Genk or Brugge would suffice. Same with Salzburg or Leverkusen.
 
We perform better against better competition...keep giving us the pot of death please.

Keep us from going out early to scrubs...which we have a tendency to do.

Not overly bothered by PSG tbh
