Good game to watch. Amazing stuff from Bale.

How much can we get if we sell Elliott to Liverpool? I reckon £10m.

That goal by Bale was out of this world the whole dynamic changed when Salah went off and the Liverpool keeper should never play for them again

Ronaldo was disappointing. Did not really bust a gut and seems to have lost a bit of pace.
Liverpool did not test their keeper enough, he seemed dodgy under aerial challenges.

Why is it a keeper gets little or no sympathy when he makes a mistake which costs his team the game yet if an outfield player misses a penalty in a similar situation then commiserations seem to be in order?

Cheeky chirpy scousers... nowt is ever their fault
their best player was always going to be man marked /earmarked for close attention . It wasn't deliberate. The ref could have blown before the tumble.
They just need to get over it .. did well to get there but shown to be a bit of a one trick pony when he went off .Nee plan B

Looks like the keeper might have a get out of jail free card now.

Liverpool's medical staff were worried Karius may have suffered concussion and arranged a scan while he was on holiday in the US.

The hospital has issued a statement on its website.

"After carefully reviewing game film and integrating a detailed history - including his reported present and immediate post-contact subjective symptoms - physical examination and objective metrics, we have concluded that Mr Karius sustained a concussion during the match May 26, 2018," it said.

"At the time of our evaluation, Mr Karius's principal residual symptoms and objective signs suggested that visual spatial dysfunction existed and likely occurred immediately following the event.

"Additional symptomatic and objectively noted areas of dysfunction also persisted.

"It could be possible that such deficits would affect performance.

"We also note that Mr Karius has reported significant and steady improvement since the concussive event, and we expect him to make a full recovery based on the results of the examination."

Once the Scousers get their teeth into something there is no stopping them.
