1 dud signing out of the 7 or 8 he has signed, I would take that ratio all day long!! Can't think of too many managers who do any better than this. - just look at some of the duds Sir Alex signed for Utd over the years......
 
It might not have worked anyway, but putting Champion in the starting line up against Solihull replacing Beevers was the big mistake imo. We had just come off a good win at Tranni and I could not see why he put him in the side having had no recent game time or training with the squad. It was not as if we had being playing badly or had injuries. He should have been on the bench and not disrupt a winning side. Live and learn ! The only mistake the Cowleys have made in my opinion. UTI.
 
Best for all parties. This could have become toxic for management/squad harmony/fans had it run on. Clean break, re-set, upwards and onwards.
