Blackpool are poised to sign winger Yusifu Ceesay following a successful trial with the club. HITC Sport has reported the 23-year-old is to sign a two-year contract with the Seasiders with the option of a further 12 months, claiming he will go straight into Pool's first-team squad. However, The Gazette understands Ceesay - who is likely to officially sign later this week - will be loaned out to gain further experience. The pacey forward impressed for Alvechurch last season, helping them win promotion from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division One South. Terry McPhillips, still in temporary charge at Bloomfield Road, said after Saturday's 0-0 draw at Walsall that he was hoping to tie up deals for two free agents. However it is thought Ceesay is seen as a player for the future and two new additions for the first team remain in the pipeline.
