Yusifu Ceesay has signed for Blackpool on an initial two-year deal, prior to joining Boston United on loan for a month.
Born in Spain, the left-sided attacking midfielder was a key player for non-league side Alvechurch last season, as the club achieved promotion to Step Three.
The 23-year-old linked up with The Seasiders for a trial in the summer, featuring in a pre-season friendly at Nantwich Town.
Now having put pen-to-paper on a deal that includes an option to extend by a further 12 months, Ceesay will gain further experience and game-time in National League North with Boston.
He made his debut for The Pilgrims against Stockport yesterday.
