Cashback sites

DeanoVilla

One Bloody Number
Just wondering... anyone out there who makes any sort of online purchases that isn't signed up to a cashback site?

If so, then why not?! You are literally throwing money away. Are you really that rich to do that?

With Xmas fast approaching, its fair to assume people will be making more and more online purchases in the next few months so now is an ideal time to join up.

There's a few out there. I've used Quidco in the past but never really seemed to get much back from them. Not sure why. probably just kept forgetting.

But last year I joined Topcashback and I've earnt £169 in cashback in in 12 months just for buying stuff I was going to buy anyway.

If I wasn't using Topcashback I'd have still spent the same money on the same items but not have £169 hard cash to show for it. Bit of a no brainer really.

This is the bit where I ask you if you do decide to join up (and I firmly believe you are a complete moron if you buy stuff online and don't) then can you please use my link?

Not only do you start earning your lovely cashback but you also get 500 Tesco Clubcard points as a bonus when you earn your first tenner, and of course there's something in it for me too. :17:

Even if you hate me and don't want to use my link you should still sign up. Nothing to lose. Loads to gain. If you don't sign up and then go on to make just 1 online purchase in the future then you're an idiot! FACT!

:19:

If anyone knows of any better cashback sites then please feel free to share. I don't mind not getting referrals if you can give people a better deal. Just want all you lovely Vital Villans to get a slice of the action.

Just to show you how quickly it can build up here is a summary of my statement -

Asos.com - - £1.47 - Bought a couple of t-shirts for holiday. Always buy clothes with them anyway

booking.com - - £9.49 - Did a price comparison first. Room was cheapest with Booking.com, then got my cashback on top.

BulkPowders.co.uk - £0.93 - Got a discount code from Fear. Got discount on my protein powder + cashback on top.

Carphone Warehouse - - £36.75 - New mobile phone contract.

Equifax - - £8.92 - Free trial = £9 cachback means I earnt money for nothing.

Holiday Extras Airport Parking - - £6.93 - Needed parking. They were the cheapest. Plus got my cashback.

House of Fraser - - £0.93 - Bought something I needed.

Marks & Spencer - - £0.63 - Bought something I needed.

Mattress Man - - £31.44 - New matress. Again, they were the cheapest place, checked that out elsewhere first... then purchased through topcashback link and got £30 back.

Monarch - - £7.72 - Flew to Italy. Cheap flights anyway, but a nice cashback bonus.

Next - - £10.47 - Can't remember what this was for, but bound to be something I needed and would have bought anyway, so why not get a tenner back?

Premier Inn - - £1.18 - Cheap hotel stay. Even cheaper with cashback

QHotels - £14.98 - Same as above.

Simply Switch - - £34.65 - Switch Gas & Electric. Saved £196 on the switch plus got £35 cashback on top.

Travelex - - £2.44 - Bought currency. Travelex already give the best rate going, and still gave me some cashback too.

Travelodge - - £0.98 - Another cheapo hotel stay made cheaper.

Total £169.91

See what I mean? All stuff I was booking anyway. All I had to do was click through a link, and I earnt all that lovely money.

Not using. I don't tend to buy stuff that attracts cashback.

Now if someone can come up with where I can get a reasonable cost for a flight to Jakarta, Indonesia, plus get cashback, that would be great. I already have the best price I can get, but no cashback.

Sorty, these sitesonly apply to UK residents so :89:

There's a fiver danger money for booking a Malaysian Air flight on quidco if that helps.
(Actually there's a few airlines / travel companies listed)

Tend to use quidco when I cba or remember.

Got £50 cashback on £150 house insurance yesterday (which was already the lowest quote I could get)

Strange statement given the amount of retailers on the list.

You never buy anything from Tesco, Boots, Next, M&S?

When you take your flight to Jakarta, you won't be needing car hire, airport parking, transfers, currency, overnight airport hotel stay, clothes, toiletries?

Who is you flight with by the way? Most of the main Flight comparison sites are affliates of TopCashback.

I will sign up for it. I get the daily deals with Wowcher and Groupon. I always check I am still getting a good deal through it cos sometimes they can work out more expensive through the sites.

I also do surveys. My Survey is about the best 1 I have found so far. You got to be picky with the sites as there are so many about, you can't do them all.

will look next time I buy from such places, but I must admit I don't usually buy from M&S, next etc. Tesco I buy online but only when they have the double your money voucher offer for the tesco points I save.

I buy clothes from m&mdirect and the secret sales and another email based stock clearance company, so they wouldn't feature.

If I buy from boots, by and large, it would be instore.

Totally agree with you though, money for nothing if you buy from them.

I also find my points on the tesco credit card (that I use as a payment card and clear every month) tot up quickly just for spending and then I wait for their double offers and bish bash bosh, got two ipods and an ipod dock.

oh and the santander123 account folks.

Costs £2 a month. Since I changed to it (I was already with them and have a mortgage with them also) I've made over £400. This month alone it was £17 cashback.

You get cashback for mortgage (if with them), energy payments, telephone spending etc.

http://www.santander123.co.uk/

Again, money for nothing.

Is it better to be a complete moron or an incomplete one? I can't make up my mind!

MandM Direct - 2.1% cashback.

Bulk powders - 10.5% cashback

Groupon - 5.25% cashback

All sites I know you use anyway, so why not earn when you use them?

The list of retailers is huge. Not just the major brands. Most shops are on there.

ah, fair enough, I'll sign up and have a proper look then, can't argue with that list mate.

done it. The experian offer is decent. £8.50 to get a credit report (good to get every now and then anyway) but if you do it, just remember to cancel within the 30 day free trial.

Yeah I did the Equifax one and got £9 cashback for free.

The holiday stuff is the best. pretty much every holiday, flight, hotel, parking, website you can think of is on there, so chances are whenever you book anything holiday related, once you've found the best deal if you go through the Topcachback link you'll get some money back.

Cheers dude, we regulary but online, never understood how these cashback things work tbh lol, so we sign up to them and we get rewards i think i have just gone through and got from it lol
