Bishop was superb, and will no doubt get lots of nominations.

Erhahon showed why we're in a much better place when he's on the pitch, a real class act.

But I'll go for Jordan Wright, brought in at short notice, he made some important saves and looked rock solid throughout. The only noticeable difference to Jensen was punching instead of catching a couple of crosses and the communication with the back 3 wasn't as clear, which was understandable.
 
Ethan Erhahon for me for his peerless reading of the game and anticipation of how the play would break down. Either that, or the lad has a teleporter setting in his boots: everywhere he needed to be, he was. We missed you, Ethan!

More-than-honourable mentions to Paudie, the Bish and especially Jordan Wright who excelled himself at zero notice. Another fine team performance.
 
I'll go for Ted Bishop. Was running the show for the first half an hour. His performance dropped off a little after that but he came back into the game late on winning and scoring that exceptional free kick. Not bad for a player who couldn't last games before Skubala came to the club (or so we were being told)
 
Some good performances today. Lots of effort. Thought bishop worked very hard and great goal but went quiet at times. Taylor the same but super in patches and Mitchell solid as ever at the back with some super blocks and didn’t stop talking. OConner too, but for me has to be the keeper as that’s not an easy situation to come in to and he was very good when needed. So my vote goes to Wright.

wouldn’t have won that without him. was everywhere, interceptions galore, hardly missed a pass, made a massive difference after friday. and no silly yellows.
 
Erhahon and Wright worthy contenders but Teddy Bishop was the best player on the pitch. He has many eye catching moments and when he has quiet periods some people think he disappears. Reminder that he plays centre midfield, sometimes the job is to hold the position and keep the team shape so he plays efficiently within the team structure. His class moments are the icing on the cake though and the sublime free kick calmed the nerves and guaranteed the 3 points. He must be the most fouled player in League One this season, must have been at least 6 fouls on him today alone, opposition know he is a big threat and a top top player at this level.
 
After the paucity of the Orient match, that was more like it for contenders - Wright, Paudie and the Bish right up there, before we even mention our front two with a goal/assist each; plus a masterclass at the end from the young 'boys' showing how to kill a game off in an imperious and effective manner.

Only one winner though, so it has to be Ethan E for reminding us of what we missed against Orient.
 
Ted Bishop just about gets my vote.
As much as I would love to give it to Ethan Erhahon, Bishop was superb with his constant running at the Carlisle defence, topped off with a magnificent goal. Honourable mentions for Ethan, Paudie and Jordan Wright
 
I concur with most posters on here and have gone for Ted Bishop. Playing further forward, due to the welcome return of Ethan Erhahon , Ted Bishop caused Carlisle so many problems with his direct running at their midfield and defence and capped a fine performance with a first class goal at the end.
Jordan Wright also deserves a mention for an assured performance including several fine saves.
