Cardiff v Swansea
The much anticipated local derby is upon us after a two week International break, where Wales did us proud beating Austria 2-1 and are one match away from qualifying for the World Cup.
The Swans are looking to be the first side to do the double after our 3-0 win earlier in the season, Paterson, Piroe and Bidwell on the scoresheet in a one-sided contest.
Since then Cardiff have a new manager Steve Morison in place and recently are in good form.

Here are their results in March -
Cardiff 2 - Stoke 1
Cardiff 0 - Preston 0
QPR 1 - Cardiff 2
Cardiff 1 - Derby 0

In comparison Swans are inconsistent -
Swans 0 - Birmingham 0
Peterborough 2 - Swans 3
Blackpool 1 - Swans 0
Swans 1 - Fulham 5
Swans 3 - Coventry 1

However, form goes out the window in these matches and a winner is hard to predict. In truth both clubs are in transition with new managers in place and this season is probably one they’ll want to forget.

After going so close to promotion for the previous two seasons, I am gutted that the Swans have fallen so far, and with 9 games to go have nothing to play for but personal pride. Let’s see that pride from our players on Saturday to send our loyal fans home with a convincing win and the double for the first time.
