Great finishes from Scully and a great turn by him for Fiorini's going. Sloppy ball out for their goal from the initial attack.

Scully's finishing looks very natural and of the highest quality, doesn't it? Just the way he hits the ball, the pace, where it ends up in the net.

I like the way their scorer ran back to the centre circle with the ball, no mate it’s not game on.

under the Cowleys we harassed and played the high press to stop the opposition playing. This football is the opposite when we play teams that give space we play and we play well.

I think Cambridge will be like us in 98/99 out of our depth. If memory serves we played Stoke Reading Man City (away) and were blown away in similar fashion.

What is quite unusual is to have the goal scoring prowess that young Scully has whilst not playing as an out and out striker. It's the same unusualness that had us debating last season what his best position is.

With his all round game developing you are effectively getting two players. He is only going to continue to attract attention because of that.

Cheers, just had a watch. Some lovely football. I doubt every opponent this season will be quite as obliging as Cambridge, however.
