two weeks ago they had a two week deadline and that deadline was today.
so today, they get another two week deadline.
pretty meaningless.

in the meantime, bury begin to mess up other teams in L1, and now f**king with the carabao cup - round 2 takes place on w/c 26 august

And all of it should have been sorted before the season even started by the EFL - who are clearly not fit for purpose.

Somehow the EFL have managed to become as incompetent as both clubs they allegedly are holding to account
Neither club should be in the league
I'm sure "Lessons will be learnt", no-one will lose their jobs and it will all happen again next season.

Almost no-one in positions of responsibility and power in this country seem to be accountable .

Therein is the answer. Fishy. Very fishy.

Simon Jordan while on air at Talksport personally offered to help Dale. I wonder if he's heard from him.
So this bloke comes forward and throws him some dosh!. Another loan they then have to repay? But if it's a 'gift' surely they will stii have to prove they can pay wages etc. Maybe they should try Dignitas in Switzerland!

And another point, when cup matches are replayed for example, you are only allowed to name players who were registered before the original tie (pretty sure that's the case).
So....if Bury somehow do end up playing Wednesday in 2 or 3 weeks or whenever, then shouldn't they only be allowed to field players they have registered right now??

Of course, throwing them out of the Cup is the correct action.

The EFL have done so much bending backwards that Simon Cowell has asked them to appear on next year's BGT, posing as the next East European circus act.. .
The only thing that would bring these pr1cks to their senses is a lawsuit brought against them by all chairmen of league 1 clubs for loss of income.
They would all be squealing like pigs when they received the letters and a massive dash for the the toilets would ensue!
They are insured against such matters but these barstewards need a good stiffener to concentrate their minds on their own legal duties.
Bring it on?
