What 3 things do we need to do to beat Bury on Saturday evening?

Anyone? I'm leaving Lincoln at 12:20 tomorrow, so not going a lot of time left to publish things!

1. Let us play our own game. We proved that we can do that with our away win on a cold Tuesday night against Yeovil. Also prove again to all our envious rivals that we are not just the ‘long ball’ team.

2. We all know Bury will be up for this game, although they know now that they won't be leap frogging us and becoming League leaders by the final whistle, but they will definitely trying to get the points gap down to 3 points and get revenge for their defeat at Sincil Bank at the start of the season. They would not enjoy the Imps doing the double over them this season.

3. Even with the game be broadcast live on Sky we will still have substantial traveling support. We may not hit DC request of 1,700, but defiantly over 1,000 which could equate to 25% of the total attendance and to cheer on another great Imps performance (hopefully).

P.S. Don't forget to buy the Bury Black Pudding if you chance, its the best in the land.

1. Don't rush the new signings straight into the 1st 11, just because we feel we have to justify signing them. Having said that Rowe has to start, probably in the 10 role and to feed off Akinde. Yeovil were poor, but we should play Bury, the way we played them, full of confidence and try different things.

2. Stick with the defence we had against Yeovil, Bolger and Shackell in the Centre with Bozzie as a defensive midfielder 'bossing' it.
I would start with the older players to try and keep it tight,;then after 60 minutes bring on the youngsters and new signings say to them "show us what you can do".

3. Don't treat Bury with any respect. We know they are 2nd for a reason, but let's not let them think we are worried about them. We showed Everton too much respect in the 1st 15 minutes, but then treated them like any other team. We know what to expect from them, so going in with the attitude of do your best you ain't getting past us, is what is required.

Oh and with the age old adage of a bit of luck and we can get something out the game.
