I can see this being a draw, just because they are so good at home....

A win would be another massive result with City/ars*nal/both dropping points this weekend.

I dont think we have won at Turf Moor ins a while?

Have not won there in the PL, drew in the FA cup/Draw and a loss in the league cup recently?

They are very good at home but they are on a poor run of form lately, this is the sort of game we could struggle without Harry. I'm going for a 1-1 draw

We need to sort this away form out. We're far too good to be worried about losing. Get the points in the bag & move on to the next one.

Agree, a draw seems likely in this one.

All depends on the lineup.

Burnley will sit back, and with the current lineup(no matter which formation we play) we dont get anything from the Wanyama/Dembo pairing. Since Wanyama will never be dropped, so Winks should be given the nod for this.

Also, with Rose out I'd revert to 4 at the back and play another attacking minded player.

Anything less than a win would be disappointing.

At home Burnley are last seasons Leicester.

They raise there game to heights they simply can't reach at home, their pitch is specifically set up to thwart short passing games like ours, the pitch is claggy, slightly longer grass and even boggy in places when it's rained, Burnley adapt and play long.

This is a game to concede possession and sit slightly deeper an frustrate - I'd start with four at the back and Dier, Wanyama and demble in the midfield - and yes (if fit, and apparently he was really sick so must be a big doubt) I start Janssen, this game might be heaven sent for him..

We get ball retention, strength and protection from the best MF pairing in the league.

I should have been clear that I meant offensively. This pairing is too defensive minded.

Agreed we need creativity in MF. Once again I stress, I do not expect us to concede . Defensively we should be too good. It's opening them up which is why we need a strong but creative MF. Probably be Dembele to start until he gets knackered. Then Winks comes on and shows him how it's done.

I hear the arguments about their home form and their spoiling tactics. I still expect nothing less than 3 points though. Surely we don't get max points from Everton and Saints only to drop points at Burnley. We need to turn up with the right attitude and tactics and win this one.

The Dembele & Wanyama pairing lay a strong, purposeful foundation. If Eriksen, Lamela, Janssen, Son & Sissoko were as competent in their roles, our offensive threat would be greater.

It is easier to defend well than attack well. Flair players will have small percentage success whereas defensive success rate is obviously far higher. So a defensive MF like Wanyama will appear to be more competent. Look how successful he is when he gets further up the pitch. Dembele too. Creates far too little when he has the ball.

I've gone for a win without doing my due diligence. After seeing the injured list, which once again could prove our "Achilles heal"....pardon the pun, I'm not so sure.

We shouldn't concede, even without Rose in our back four, but something tells me we will, which means we'll have to score at least two which is a big ask as Burnley are very strong at home.
