I guess it has to be someone temporarily!

I wonder if they have anyone in mind or will have to go through an application process? Difficult to see someone who is at another club being interested.

Whoever comes in will have a hell of a challenge to keep us up. That said surely with the squad we have it wouldn’t take too much to get them playing significantly better?

Taylor has proved to be a waste of money so far...

I'm sure we all feel relieved that HE HAS GONE. I thought he may have fallen on his own sword without having to be sacked. Hopefully, a new Manager can turn our dismal form around, save our season and L1 status at the very least.

Its a relief, the team have been dismal so far this season. Tactics were predictable and not producing results. Players fitness is questionable even 2 months into the season and a possible major factor as to why we are so injury prone.

New boss needs to be able to rally enthusiasm, get players fit again, and upgrade our playing style asap

Every keeper under him has failed to command his box and remained rooted to his line.
Perhaps. Whether that's a stylistic thing from Banks or a tactical thing from managers (or if you could get shot stoppers who also can do that, they won't be playing in league 1).

When you look at the track record of keepers though:

- Maxwell was arguably the best keeper in League one the year we went up, with most clean sheets.

- Grimmy then came in as a raw youngster, sold for a really good profit after developing with us over 18 months.

- Tyrer came in looking really raw, dodgy first few months but came on really strong and most (appreciate not all) were disappointed he's not back here on a permanent.

- and tbf, BPF has kept some scorelines from being even more embarrassing the last few months after a really ropey start where he clearly had no confidence.
