Bronze Membership

I have been a Spurs supporter for about 60 years, my Dad used to take me down The Lane in the enclosure and lift me over the fence and I would sit on the bench pitch side.

I have been a Spurs supporter for about 60 years, my Dad used to take me down The Lane in the enclosure and lift me over the fence and I would sit on the bench pitch side. I have read this forum for years and it is the first time I have written an article, so be gentle with me.

As supporters should be aware success breeds success, but they might not know that Bronze membership for season ticket means a very, very long waiting list. I am 63734 on the list, that doesn't include existing season ticket holders I am told.

The marketing team have done an excellent job. I should have joined the list years ago, whether I renew my membership I have not decided as it seems unlikely that I will see my beloved Spurs much before I die, I am 69 this year, I know that's not old but those that get a season ticket in the new stadium should cherish it like gold dust. At least I saw “The Double Team” and all the ups and downs since then.

Is anyone else having similar issues?

Another side of the coin.

I have been a Bronze member for 12 plus years. Last year I was made redundant, and couldn't go to games. My reward? Loyalty points deducted. A hell of a lot as well. 75 points or so. Now I don't have enough points to go to Wembley.

Now I am very tempted to get rid of my membership. They are only looking at the money side of things. Shock horror. My loyalty hasn't been rewarded so why should I give them any back?

Uspurs, i've been a Spurs fan 50 years, since the 1967 cup final, and i first went to WHL in 1970. i joined Bronze maybe 8-9 years ago, and have made my way up from about 31,000 to 6,000 now. i guess i'll be eligible for a season ticket in the new stadium. Living in the USA i can now only go to about 4-5 matches a year, when i am over for business and we're at home (went to Millwall, and will be the last time ever at WHL on Sunday v southampton). i'll get the season ticket but then want to share it with a trusted other(s) at cost price for games. i am sure a lot of other people will do likewise. life being the way it is many people i am sure can't get to every home match but don't want to lose money on it. i pay around £100 on Stubhub for tickets right now, unless season ticket friends aren't going then i cover their cost. the new stadium's another 25,000 seats, i am sure there's going to creative ways of season ticket sharing etc. that can work.

I've been a fan for 35 years or so but only joined up as a member around 15 years ago.
I'm now bronze member too and am currently No. 35525 in the queue for a season ticket. Not that I want one as I live in the South West.

I used to go to the amount of games I always wanted to as I could make note of on sale dates and get a ticket that morning without a problem.

This season however with the ballot system, it's a nightmare and I think, really unfair!
Whatever happened to just being first come, first served!?
