To be fair £14m is good business providing we have replacements lined up.

With that money we have a golden opportunity to purchase a really decent spine to the team.

So If he agrees to go and then fails the medical at Boro, would you be happy to see him in side after wanting to turn his back on us join a team in same league?

A decent anount for him and should be a stingent medical. If he does pass then can only think if we had kept him till at least January he'd be worth £18m in that window

And if he is issues with medical then Boro would either try to reduce the price or offer to take on loan

£60k a week in the championship is nearly as crazy as Britt would have to be to turn it down.

Good luck Britt, sorry we were such a shambles for all the time you were here & that injury didn't help. As well as not celebrating would you mind not playing against us?

Exactly. We do have some lemon supporters a@@@@ our ranks.

So the 5 star treatment at Rockcliffe Hall the other week was correct. Cant blame him, we were treated like royalty and we were only a bunch of golfers there for a good time.

Shit deal for Forest, shit deal for Britt, his agent must be getting some serious fooking dough for this one way beyond anything that Boro and Watford are offering

Forest should be rejecting this out of hand, we do not need the cash and we do not need to be trying to buy a replacement in this market, if there is any credence in this why are we are not looking at Forshaw Gestede Friend Bamford and Leadbitter is anyone's guess, all 5 of them would be welcomed with open arms into our squad

IMO its bollocks anyway if and when this plays out it will go like Antonio patsy Champ club gets trumped by the EPL at the last minute.

What must Britt be thinking, he is off the back of 1 season out 1 season of rehab, he is first choice and about to knock in goals that will give him cracking options 6 months down the line why the fook he is attracted to the cream of the shit is beyond me (well it isn't it fooking agent driven)

Getting close to as poor a deal as Burke if you ask me and I will be really disappointed with the owners if this is the case, selling to Boro is a kick in the teeth, player ambition is one thing cowering to another team in the same division is completely another

If the club let him go for that amount

It smacks of one of the worst decisions up there with some of Fawaz's fook ups

:23: :36:

wonder why this didn't happen in june? o ya...they extended the season card first and made sure it was all done before selling Britt.

Totally agree.

Should not be selling to a championship club for any price.

It is well and truly two fingers to our fans. Clearest demonstration they can make of their limited ambitions.

Obviously things can change and if the money is invested really well it could be a masterstroke. I've yet to see any evidence whatsoever that this money is set to be invested really well, in the sense that I cannot see from what we have seen any way that we are going to start this season with a stronger team.

Even the optimists are all providing the caveat "good deal IF invested widely". If if if.

Once we've paid posh this will be less than we received for Burke who had 25 games and 6 goals under his belt.

People talk about successful selling clubs. There is no such thing.

Southampton etc are not selling clubs, they are DEALING clubs. They sell high and use that money to deal in the transfer market with players they can add value to. All successful clubs outside the massive ones do this.

Selling clubs just sell and then make do with what they have. There aren't any successful selling clubs that I can think of.

Let's see which one these new owners want us to be

We have the next Wayne Rooney on our books who just needs game time. Good move for both Brit and the club. If anybody thinks that we will be shafted on this deal just have a look at how savy our new owner is. Its all out there if you care to look.
