Friday 15th Feb. Avon and Somerset Police have arrested and charged three men in connection with the fights at the Bristol City v Swansea match on the 2nd of Feb.
They carried out what they've described as the first in a series of planned operations to arrest those involved in football-related antisocial behaviour and violence on the day of the game.
“We work closely with our local football clubs sharing information. We’re all committed to stamping out this type of behaviour. I’d urge anyone else who was involved in the disorder to hand themselves in before we come knocking on their door.”
They said that investigators are still working through hours of CCTV footage to identify any further potential suspects, and that Bristol City, Asthon Gate Stadium and Swansea City all support the investigation.
