Brice samba, superstar

I Think that calmness is the key with Samba agreed he has had a couple of questionable moments of late but that is more than off set by the aura of calm / cool he exudes around his area. I still get agitated when keepers parry / punch instead of catching the ball but that seems to be the modern way

Thats why i enjoyed his banter at bamford- a guy who began his career with us and samba just owned his box as he should. Its that kind of confidence that creates the aura of calm. Some excellent saves also help.

He just keeps everything out, doesn't he? He could ride every slag in Nottingham bareback and absolutely nothing would happen. He wouldn't have to go to the clinic. His body would just keep all of the VD out.

He would if he stumbled into trap 2 with HIM

RIDDLED

doesnt have much to do with 6 defenders in front of him, but for sure, its great having a calm keeper who isnt really noticed in many ways

He isn’t so calm when the ball is on his head and 4 x 6 foot five inch players are jumping at him. Got more protection on the continent. Not exactly quick getting low either. If he is as good as some say these are his balls. Harsh but true.

Weds have big forwards and others that block runs leaving goalie unprotected. Likewise Huddersfield. Bristols best chances came from high balls, mainly to back stick. Note Bristol City fans on here saying with this team it will be hoof ball. Derby are likely to stick with team played against PNE minus Bogle. Not a lot of height thus unlikely to be a tactic unless Martin comes on.

Derby tend to rely on runs through the middle, thus a connected midfield maybe evidenced. Runs thru the middle can lead to free kicks outside the area and we know what that means.

Can we hold them for an hour then force them to overstretch their midfield, hitting them on the break?

Exactly my thoughts.

An available Lolley would surely have been better for the scenario you have described.
