Whether they are targeting him or not, the fact the bristol fans thought he pulled worldies out of his arse tells us all we need to know about how effective that has been for them.

He's not the tallest but he rarely misses the ball when coming for a cross, might not look orthodox but generally he gets the ball away from danger.
 
He's probably made as many clangers as Pantillimon. But he has saved us more points than Pantillimon as well. And he's 7 years younger.

He's with us for a reason, and it isn't because he is a champions League standard keeper. But for this level he is one of the best keepers we could have, and he has a real personality; the whole defence has a sense of togetherness that we haven't seen with other keepers.

He needs a lot of work on his handling, of course.
 
I think he's been trying to parry less since the restart, will take a bit of time to perfect it as his natural instinct seems to be to parry. He's got personality, he's calm and his distribution is very good although it's been a bit off the last few games. If his mild weaknesses were not there he would be playing in a top division, he's young enough to iron some of those out and hopefully we keep hold of him as he could be one of the best keepers we've had in decades.
 
Precisely, none of our players are without mistakes. He was weak yesterday and probably all the more noticeable since he is normally one of our stronger players.

Not sure how he can be overrated when nobody knew who he was and he was replacing a relatively popular player. Samba has earned his status imo over the season and it cant be trashed over 1 game.
