Brexit rolls on...

No point being right if you can't get anyone to listen to you.

Corbyn could be in quantum leap and he wouldn't avert a single disaster because no one would want to listen to him. He could be on the Titanic and it would still sink.

You can talk bollocks about red Tories while collecting your rent all you like but the fact is the people of this country hated him and they still hate labour because of him.

And this is a thread about Brexit. Mr Corbyn has absolutely no influence on Brexit or politics full stop now. On Brexit, he has done quite enough damage already in fact.
Just as a matter of interest what do you think of labours latest political heavy weight Lisa Nandy?

and in your book, Starmer maybe right (he certainly is in one respect) but nobody seems to be listening to him either (according to your favourite pollsters)

They are though.

His personal approval ratings are very high; on a par or higher than Johnson.

The Tories have stabilised and their poll lead has fractionally increased. Not to the -23 we have seen, but to around -8 or -10.

That is hardly a surprise. It is summer and after four months of lockdown Johnson is opening shops, pubs and restaurants again. He is very visibly making sure he is the face of reopening and he was able to dodge being the face of the worst of the lockdown by being off work for six weeks through his own stupidity.

Anyone could have predicted there would be a bounce for the Tories when the economy reopened and the relief and, (sickening to say) gratitude comes in.

The fact that Johnson is responsible for the highest death rate in the world doesn't factor in; the red wall traitors dont actually watch or read that level of news. They are too busy on Facebook slagging off Shemima Begum or talking shit about Muslim grooming gangs

Don, irrespective of what you think was democratically elected and can/will be removed at some point. Whether you agree with him is inconsequential to the fact he is not a dictator.
More importantly, "Don" is doing whatever he can to undermine the institutions that sustain democracy in the states. Luckily he is an inept idiot and pretty ineffective and very likely to be gone very soon. The danger is that it is possible for a more effective anti democratic president / prime minister to be elected via a democracy.

I'm not a fan of Yougov as it is run by the Tories but the Red Tories love it

So I'm sure Pope is happy with those figures

Just wait until Boris is gone in a few months and Gove is in charge and the Tory press start licking his arsehole

It will be annihilation for Labour

The Cava Conservatives need to own it and Starmer for his insistence on giving the mixed message on Brexit for the last election

If the Democrats win both houses the first thing they need to do is voluntarily curb the powers of the presidency, starting with eliminating the presidential pardon.

They need to anticipate any scheme the GOP might come up with to subvert democracy with a different president and then close that constitutional loophole

You are absolutely certifiable

Stop being abusive and insulting people!!!!!

He gets like that when he is called out on his bullshit

It's a common theme with him going back years

He is very much a bully

Makes snidey comments and then also plays the martyr or the victim

He's a hypocrite. I don't a fuck that he insults people but when he pulls people up for doing what he does day in, day out, just shows what kind of character he is.
