Null thinks it’s a perfect fit. What do they know. Can’t see it being 6m to be honest.
 
if really for 6 million, i think that this transfer was agent driven ... in the great scheme of things 6 million are not going to make much difference in our coffers (hopefully), so BB, after being a regular last year, expected to be the same again this year, by AK bringing Grabban, indirectly,it was made clear to BB that in AK`s eyes he was not ready to lead the line...so at that point he made up his mind that his future was not at Forest (if he wanted regular football) .... who knows how this will pan out for the boy...he might flourish or he might end up a poor man Burke and ends up being loaned to lower league clubs...
 
Unfortunately, Karanka historically has been a poor judge of strikers. He was at Middlesborough and I see nothing to change my mind here. Some managers are- Davies struggled with that too.

If Karanka alone thinks Ben is rubbish and only worth £6m then a) he is wrong and b) our club set up is totally wrong if one temporary incumbant has the power to make that decision in his own

Definitely take Gestede. Think we’ll get a bit more than 6m, but not much more, he ain’t all that. I won’t lose much sleep over it if I’m honest.

Even more reason for AK to go and sign a replacement.

Worth noting that Radio Nottm are saying that the reported £6m fee is on the low side.

I can't see any way that he will think we are equipped enough up front for the whole season with just Grabban and Murphy. I'll be amazed if we don't sign at least 1 striker to replace BB.

If we go out and sign a defensive mid - and I still don't know why this would be the case and would be interested to hear why Jock thinks this is probable - then it will be horrendous business. If we go and sign an Abraham or Gestede then we will have improved

But Villa were looking to buy. His availability has changed constantly over the summer- Nixon was saying that last weekend and that he has given up trying to understand it.

We had apparently put £15m aside for Vukcevic. If we had that kind of money available, alongside £6-8m we might actually be able to purchase if they valued him in the teens.

New Chelsea manager doesn't look like he wants him
 
On another note our transfer record on the bench after a few games having been subbed after 50 mins in the last game . Not exactly great is it.

And I believe Cummings is now L1 top scorer with another two goals.

Interesting to note that Marriott can't even get a game from the bench for Derby. He has had 13 minutes all season
 
The question I would pose to people is how often after do signings become good especially, overseas players after a slow start.

I'm struggling to think of one forest player from overseas who came good after a slow start
