Brentford away - Boxing Day - 7:30pm

Steve Bruce has said ‘it’s his time’ referring to hogan. Guessing he’ll be getting a start tomorrow and I hope it’s with Davis to lighten to workload on him. Problem shared is a problem solved

Definitely need to put a man on their playmaker. Everything goes through him and he has bossed the game the last 3 times we have played them. If we can't do a number on him tomorrow we could always buy him !!!!

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Brentford and Aston Villa this Boxing Day.

Can't see where our goals are going to come from now.

I saw an interview with Hutton a while back and he said he was a striker when he was a kid....

Brentford have improved a lot as the season has progressed. Tough to beat at home, too. Difficult game where a draw would probably be a good result, even if we really need to be winning games like this.

I read that Bruce gibberish about Hogan, about freshening things up, it's all claptrap, he can't communicate. No point playing Hogan unless he completely changes the way he sets up his teams ... can't wait to see what happens. SB bangs on about not wanting to play anyone who hasn't trained in case they get injured, but sticks Agbonlahor on who has been training like mad and he gets injured [what a shame].

------------- Johnstone ----------------
De Laet Chester Sulliman Taylor
--------- Jedinak -- Whelan ---------
Adomah -------------------- Grealish
---- hogan ---------- Davis -----------

All very well saying it's Hogan chance but zero point playing him if we don't create in the middle of midfield and the wingers get nulifield because teams have sussed us out.
Brentford will own the central midfield. Especially the ginger lad who plays for them

I'd start Hutton but otherwise, yes.

Oh, and I'd scream in Grealish's face before they left the dressing room.

What a stupid time for a kick off. I'll be fast asleep at 3:30am. Can someone scream in Grealish's face for me, please?

As a generally positive person, I'm now rather tired of spending most of my Villa related time criticising Steve Bruce and all the negativity he brings to himself and the club with his boring, tactically lacking hoofball approach to football and it has now reached a level where for me personally, there is nothing else but moan and criticise and believe me that hurts because it goes against the grain.

So please Steve Bruce & Co get your act together, go out and match other teams energy in closing down from the forwards to defence - Get them passing and moving and take the shackles off them to allow them to want to play for the club and themselves.

It's over to you Steve to give us something to shout about. So either ship up or ship out ASAP.

Up The Villa and good luck tonight

Are there particular Instructions you'd like screamed at him or just an unintelligible shout?
