This might have been discussed on here - but cant find it.

Has anyone seen it. First few series I thought why all the hype.... but during and after the 3rd series I thought it was great - if you haven't watched it then you need to....

What did everyone think of it?

amazing start to finish as far as I'm concerned!

Seen it from the first series which to start with was on FX, later on had to be more inventive, two series I bought on dvd (and then sold on ebay!) and the last one Rev bought me and lent me his apple tv to watch it.

Just outstanding drama, they don't make many like that sadly!
 
ive heard a programme called dexter is good too.

Don't get me wront, I loved all the programme and was hooked - but the people on my facebook were saying that I must watch it and that its the best ever programme blah blah blah - but it was only until the 3rd series I understoodthe hype - great great great programme!!
 
I was lucky barnie, saw it from the get go, so no hype!

Dexter is good, takes time to get into.

It is a classic, up there with the very best.

The Sopranos and The Wire also.
 
Breaking Bad is the best TV series ever made in my book.

I agree about the hype, but every now and then something comes along that actually deserves the hype and this was it.

Dexter, good for about 5 series and then gets a bit silly.
 
im going to watch dexter after I finish 'orange is the new black' - don't laugh at me watching this, Im only watching it for the lesbo bits, which there isn't much of!
 
I haven't seen it but my wife spent about 3 weeks watching every episode from the start on Netflix.

She said it was brilliant for me it meant my tea was usually late being cooked.
 
Thought Breaking Bad was over hyped, but did think the last couple of series were a lot better and all in all, I'd say it was a pretty decent. Dexter is much, much better entertainment in my opinion. I wasn't counting the days down til the next episode of BB like I was with Dexter, though BB ended on a high, whilst Dexter peaked before the end, though I enjoyed all series.
