How do you know Scally is not backing Lovell? Scally is reputed to have ways backed his managers, these signings could be Lovell's choices.
There is no way that scally is backing Lovell like he should be. The fact that southend who are a similar size club are making more effective moves then us suggests so. The only time where he remotely backed a manager and it was apparent was JED when he brought in JET and Wagstaff. There is not going to be any forward moved unless scally backs the managers more.
He’ll give Lovell the funds to sign the players he wants. Why do people have this stupid idea that Scally says “no, sorry. You’ll have to sign from non-league”. Ridiculous. Lovell has signed players from non-league because he wants to.
