Bradley Dack (again).

2 more goals last night for Blackburn. I wonder what others feel his transfer value is now? I am not saying Blackburn will sell but surely bigger clubs will come sniffing sooner or later if he continues his current form. Anyone know if there was a sell on clause - surely we would not have let him go for £750k without one?

Must already be worth £4-5m, but I doubt Blackburn will sell for even double that. They'll want him for at least a full Championship season, by which time Bradley's value could be spectacular! I'm sure others have said there is a sell-on clause. I'd be disappointed in the Chairman if there wasn't - he's usually pretty good on those details.

It's his decision obviously as it's his club, but he definitely (in hindsight) sold Dack at the bottom of his market - he would have gone for more if sold earlier, and is worth more now.

He is still in the region of 5/1 to score the first goal, has been a regular money spinner!

I'd imagine he would go for £8-10m if they sold him. If he performs in the Championship to the same level as he has in L1 will be £15m+.

And not many people gave PS any credit for keeping hold of him when we (apparently) had the chance to sell for 2mill +. I bet he would have copped a lot of abuse if he had sold Bradley then, especially given our subsequent downturn in form after Jan that season.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Think PS did get quite a bit of credit for keeping him and not selling, although Dack himself said he didn't want to go to Bristol City (who did bid £2m) but we don't know who else might have come in.

In fairness to Scally he was in a no win situation 're Dack.

Really pleased for Bradley Dack, he`ll do well in the Championship. Who knows, Gills could be several million pounds better off as a result; maybe sooner than we think !

Dack was valued at £2 million by Bristol City after winning League 1 Player of the Year, so I’d say £2.5 - 3 million now since he’s now part of a promotion-winning side.

Hopefully Blackburn wait a few seasons to sell him until they get an offer they can’t refuse. I’m happy to wait if it means more millions over his £750k transfer fee from us.

No doubt in 2-3 seasons time he’ll be Championship Player of the Year, Blackburn turn down a decent offer over £10 million, then he has a (relatively) shit following season :arrghh:

So no sell on clause... Bad business in my eyes :-(

How do you know there is no sell on clause ?

'The fee does not include add-ons' - that doesn't mean there are no add-ons just that they aren't included in the 750k figure.

By the way - Cardiff bid £4m for Dack in January - Blackburn turned it down. He must be worth £8m by now.

It’s pretty ambiguous - I read it to mean there were no add-ons in the deal made between us and Blackburn. I didn’t take that to mean there was no sell-on clause though. I’d consider that different to an add-on which I’d take to mean appearance and promotion fees.

I read add-ons as in “an extra £100k if Blackburn get promoted, an extra £100k after 50 starts” etc.

I don’t believe for a second that we’ve foregone a sell-on clause.

From a rovers.co.uk site - is this their official site ?

Rovers are delighted to have secured their third signing of the summer with the arrival of highly-rated attacker Bradley Dack.
The 23-year-old follows Peter Whittingham and Richie Smallwood through the door at Ewood Park, joining from Gillingham on a three-year deal, with the option of a fourth, for £750,000 plus add-ons.
