May be a cagey game, to start. I always remember them being a big side who contribute to a boring game, particularly at our place.

Out of the previous 10 meetings, the 5 at our place have returned 8pts from a possible 15, winning 2 drawing 2 and losing 1[in the 20/21 season].
Obviously meaning they have won 1, drew 2 and lost 2 - 5pts from 15 up here.

Both teams are different gravy from the last meeting in 23/24.
Heart says 2-0 pools, head says draw, would love to see us keep a clean sheet.

Historically we very rarely play well against 10 men or with 10 men, so a point was a positive, how many times in the past have we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory?

We’re one of 5 teams unbeaten, we’re 3pts off the top spot and keeping strong company, it’s all good and still in certain quarters there is a negativity about what ‘might’ happen.
Things will happen, injuries, suspensions even individual drop in form, those are football life events, it’s how we deal with them.
Avoiding knee jerk reactions, because someone on a message board [not this one I hasten to add] or someone in the crowd is trying to panic everyone into thinking the sky will fall in, might help.

The most positive thing is only one goal conceded and that was an unfortunate own goal. Get the strikers striking and/or bring in a loanee and we could do really well.

Early days yet and, as you say Billy, there will be bumps along the way but my feeling is that we have enough capacity to deal with it.

Got to agree with your views.
I do think we could do with another 1 or 2 forwards, think SG has mentioned as much but generally Pools are in good shape.
For me football teams / squads are "organic" in nature with changing personnel part and parcel of development.
