Well considering we played poorly by all accounts I'm pleased with the point. Many a recent pools team would have collapsed after conceding so early. If we can get summat from Solihull on Tuesday the play off dream starts to cross my mind. But this is Pools after all so I am determined not to get excited. Fingers crossed. Dave Challinor walks on water.

The draw on Saturday was acceptable, would have settled for a point before kickoff, as would another draw on Tuesday. Both these teams are solid on their home ground.
The worry from Saturday's game is the continued struggle against physical, robust teams which frustrate Pools attempts to play a passing game.

Pools home form will determine if we can creep into the playoffs.
