Paul Pogba’s agent will earn £41 million from the player’s move to Manchester United, according to a book published in Germany this week.

The book Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football claims that Mino Raiola was entitled to £22.8 million of the £89 million fee paid by United to Juventus to sign Pogba last summer. It alleges that the agent is also due more than £16 million in further payments and an additional £2.2 million from the player, taking his total earnings from the deal to £41 million.

That is scandalous. Im sure he got a nice chunk of change from the ibra deal as well.

Another thing they published were the terms of zlatans and pogbas deals.

And now the true cost of bringing both players to the club can be revealed via Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football, published following research by Der Spiegel journalists Rafael Buschmann and Michael Wulzinger.

As well as landing £2.86m in goal bonuses, Ibrahimovic is understood to be earning £367,640 a week – the highest in Premier League history – following his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Pogba earns £165,588 a week, which is a basic wage of £8.61m a year and he will start to receive a £3.4m loyalty payment each year from next year.

The Frenchman will be hoping the Red Devils can win the Europa League this season with his wages set to go up by £1.875m a year if they can lift the trophy.

Let's not get on the back of the agents. The whole system is open to exploitation. You only have to look at FIFA. Everyone's at it. PL bosses earn a fortune but seem immune to any external scrutiny. One has to ask how come the whole transfer dealings by this bloke were vetted by all the regulatory bodies and the can of worm is being opened by investigative journalism. Same goes in other professions....the MP's were brought to account for their expenses. I am sure Harry Redknapp and Sam Allardyce could enlighten us on a few things!

Being a top tiers agent is now a very lucrative business.

Unless FIFA gets it's act together (and it failed and gave up the last time it tried); the direction of travel for huge payments to agents/third parties will only continue all the time that media payments keep growing...

As an agent the business can often be feast or famine and having been financially involved with an agency, you have to make hey whilst the Sun shines... :10:

F.a and fifa are run by politicians. We all know politicians are thieves and liars and are getting their cut from these type of deals.
