Bony Disappointed At Arsenal Oversight

When you've got someone like Sergio Aguero fit (kind of) and available for a game of such importance like one against Arsenal you'll select them wouldn't you? Just as Manuel Pellegrini himself did at the start of the week.

Wilfred Bony dropped out of the Man City starting XI for the defeat at the Emirates Stadium with Aguero preferred, which obviously the Ivorian wasn't best pleased about. If he was you would be surprised, if not equally as disappointed!

Whilst I can see his point of view, up to a point, especially regarding Aguero's match fitness.....but at the same time I still didn't see Wilf set the world alight with his tireless chasing, tackling and unerring accuracy of his shots and headers.

I am also not a fan of hearing this sort of fodder being served up to the hacks - I know the world has changed and access to vent your views is no longer restricted to buying the hack for the local paper a pint and sounding off - but still think he needs to let his work rate and scoring rate do the talking.
 
Yes if Wilf had been banging them in for fun , Pellers may have gone two up front, but wilf is fioring more blank than live shots and it was only natural to bring back a real goal getter than one that huffs and puffs.
 
6 goals and 3 assists in his last 10 starts in all comps, I'd be a pit pissed off too.

That said, this type of thing should be kept inhouse.
 
If one of the top strikers in the world has returned from injury, you play him, simples.

I am not a fan of Bony, and don't think he fits our style of play, or looks interested most of the time. Saying that, he has done well of late, so possibly should have come on earlier than he did.

But sorry Wilf, Aguero is world class, if he's fit he plays, so STFU with the moaning and concentrate on your job
