Bolton

Another hollow threat from The EFL then. As long as the sale goes through after the transfer window shuts, provided the EFL don't give them dispensation to make signings (other then free agents) and remembers to dock them a lot more points there will be a small dose of justice.

Has the flavour of the EFL ensuring that a statement is in place within the letter of the rules so that future actions cannot be appealed...

For both clubs, owners have taken the mick for way too long. Taken the mick out of the fans, the EFL, other clubs and their fans and local businesses too. Time to draw a veil over the whole scene and move on.

But especially the fans. I hope that phoenix clubs arise and are properly run...

Third time on the trot Bolton have conceded 5 and their fans are voting with their feet lowest crowd ever at The Reebok yesterday five thousand and Ipswich took 700.

To be fair that's a decent turnout to watch their U12s....although mummies and daddies and grandparents must account for quite a few

History suggests that come 31st January Bolton will be packed full of Championship level players....whether they have the money for them or not.

Not forgetting the EFL allowing them to pick and choose which games and when they play fixtures. The whole Bury and Bolton sagas should be ended by the EFL with both losing their place in the EFL and dropping to the highest division that will take them, that is if the EFL are to end with any credibility.

Sadly, the credibility of the EFL doesn't matter. It's a monopoly, there won't be an upcoming election to remove it. Football is stuck with them, they know it and couldn't give a flying fluck what anyone else thinks.

Agreed. But there are always ways to challenge that. Ask women who didn't have the vote or gay people who were once persecuted. All it takes is a bit of collective action and some balls.

Not that anyone in England seems to have any balls anymore. Cap-doffing, fore-lock tugging bunch of lickspittles that we seem to have become.
