Bolton....interesting...

Cheers for that.
Another article popped up whilst viewing that one
Breakaway league talk again

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49771802

I read that article. I've thought before in the current situation with smaller clubs such as ourselves and the likes of Bournemouth. Burnley. Huddersfield etc making it to the Prem and so called bigger clubs dropping down to the 3rd tier and struggling to get out. The likes of Sunderland, Coventry, Leeds and the Sheffield clubs etc in recent years.
How long will it be if the Championship breaks away will the 3rd tier clubs look at breaking away from the 4th tier citing a bigger share of t.v. money?

Owd Codger (early 1970’s); “Money ? It’ll ruin’t Bloody game”

13 year old Whippersnapper ; “What’s that daft owd get gooin’ on about.”

Almost half a century has passed and the lithe, athletic whippersnapper is now a fully paid up overweight old fart .....and the scales have fallen from his eyes !

There are definitely a few of us about Zeb.

Why ???? It's a football topic about our close rivals. It isn't cricket and it isn't about Brexit so what's your problem?

Seriously....that’s disgraceful, and as and when any other clubs fail to fulfil a fixture , the EFL will be hard pressed to deduct points ‘from the off’ now ...at least not if the club brought before them can afford a decent lawyer.

Is there any prior precedent where failing to fulfil a fixture hasn’t resulted in points deduction or something even more severe?
