Peak Rover
Vital Reserves Team
Brooks was very good yesterday and definitely mom. He could become an excellent player, if he trusts his right foot more and goes down the line more.
Not rumours m8Great to see Brooks finally get off the mark and play so well, and the flick from O’Hare that set him up was outstanding.
The first 15 minutes of the second half was WBA’s but I think we were the more likely team after that. We were missing 6 good players today who’d probably walk into most Championship teams. Like I said the other day, it’s not just about missing quality players, it’s also having to overplay the others.
We desperately need bodies in early next month. Rumours from Leicester are that Souttar’s done his Achilles, (we never do things by ******* halves do we?). If so, it’s unlikely that we’ll be seeing him again this season and we’ll not be keeping another 15 clean sheets without bringing in somebody of the same ilk. That’s easier said though. The kid sort of got the club from game one and was our absolute rock. We’ve also lost Blaster for the season and Vinnie is definitely a worry for me. Even when he’s played of late he’s not been his normal self, he has to be 100% to play his normal game.
I think we’ve been dealt a pretty shit hand with injuries yet again, which is why I’m ok with a point and can’t be too critical. Just looking at Burnley and WBA’s benches compared to ours tells me all I need to know. It’s over to the new owners now.
Yes it was the first thing I heard on the sports news this morning Bully. Poor beggar had had a crap time with an injury last season as well. I really hope this is his last bad un. He’s right up there with our best ever loans for me.
A mate of mine said we should ge and get Harry Maguire on loan,Feel for the lad devastating for both of us
So who should we go for to replace him I wouldn’t mind tanganga but I doubt they’d let him go it will probs be another loan but who![]()
Tanganga would be my pick, strong, tall but has decent technique. We need more pace and players who are good with the ball. We 100 percent need to move the ball to feet quicker.Feel for the lad devastating for both of us

Tanganga does look a good player from what i've seen of him,we need 2 or 3 in Quickly.I'm not feelin confident for the Sunnerlan game at all.UTBTanganga would be my pick, strong, tall but has decent technique. I’m not going to disagree with you but there’s little to no chance of wilder doing that he’s Chris’s golden boy and can’t do owt wrong in his eyesI note that Watford potentially have 2 key players out against us and QPR, which helps. The big game is Sunderland, who in my opinion are very good on the wings and attack wise. On the face of it I can see us losing that.
I know this is controversial, but I would drop Hamer and put Sam McCallum on the left wing. The combination of him and Burrows has to be better than Hamers one man show gone wrong.
The lad needs a kick up the arse and there are many championship midfielders that are far outperforming him.
The tail wagging the dog, not good.I’m not going to disagree with you but there’s little to no chance of wilder doing that he’s Chris’s golden boy and can’t do owt wrong in his eyes
Hamer's worked his socks off all season and he's probably our most consistent threat goin forward in my opinion.Yes he was poor v The Baggies but these lads that are startin regularly are absolutely shattered and that's why in my opinion Tom Davies was off it on sunday also.UTBO'Hare does work very hard, consistently. Never shies away from work, does his job, is disciplined, and produces occasional lovely touches - the flick for Brooks.
For what he cost, he's a real asset.
