Every games emotional for me I’m only watching but I’ve left games at the end or just watching on tv absolutely knackered

Didn't know my neighbour ( doesn't go but his 40000 mates do) had been ont radio. Sounds just like him.Peck's best game in a United shirt. No fatigue on show today.
I've just made the mistake of turning on Praise or Grumble. I've heard pigs slagging off Preston and Millwall, saying they're as good as Leeds, they're in the promotion hunt and can beat any team, sausage roll is a genius - what planet are these dopey ***** on ?
Radio switched off.
We won wi a squad that's absolutely Knackered Germaine, personally i'd sooner praise the squad rather than look for negatives but each to their own dux.Did your fella go to the Spurs game? For the neutral the Spurs game are good to watch but i can imagine not so much for Spurs fans altho the games are not borin are they? UTBHate to bring it up, but what was Brewster's remit when he came on? If it was to jog around for 30 mins and put minimal effort in - he succeeded. A couple of times OHare and Peck busted a gut to get up to their penalty area, and Rhian was nowhere. And just wasn't available for passes when he should have been.
Can't say I was impressed
That was the longest last 20 mins i've watched for a long time possibly ever.I was tryin to kick every ball.UTBEvery games emotional for me I’m only watching but I’ve left games at the end or just watching on tv absolutely knackered![]()
Weren’t we all I find myself physically trying to head the ball away sat on the sofaThat was the longest last 20 mins i've watched for a long time possibly ever.I was tryin to kick every ball.UTB
The clock is ticking on Brewsters contract. I hope Wilder thinks with his head. There is no way he should stay. A very expensive mistake.Hate to bring it up, but what was Brewster's remit when he came on? If it was to jog around for 30 mins and put minimal effort in - he succeeded. Yes I think we definitely look better with somebody more mobile up front. There will be games and part games that Moore will play his part but I think Campbell and hopefully BBD should be our first choice as a pair or lone striker.Easily the best result of the season. And we'll have to go some to have a better one. A decimated squad at a hard ground, at the end of a demanding period. Those 2 in midfield having to do 90 again, with only a couple of useful subs to bring on. Hamer going off early made it even worse - just as he was looking like killing them. To win despite all this was a tall order.
We did exactly as I thought we needed to do - take the lead before the last 20 minutes or so because as soon as fatigue sets in and the benches are used, it shifts in Watford's favour. It was always going to be a tense hanging on job if we were to win.
It was O'Hare's best game - he carried the forward line because the other 2 went off early and the other one was Brewster. Great running and a great assist. Signs of more progressive play.
I was quite pleased with One and prefer the look of us with him there instead of Moore. He was without doubt taken off too early. He's barely played and already looks capable enough at this level.
What a goal by Brooks. That's as good as it gets. Seemed like it would never happen for him, so to see him do that in a game like this in front of our fans was great - pleased I was there to see it.
We'd now be top without the minus 2. Impressive but annoying. I thought we'd be 5 points adrift of at least one of the other 2 by now. It puts us in a good position for the transfer window. Now we must get a bunch of signings in. I think it's probably play offs for us but the fixtures are quite favourable because we have less top end teams to play.
If it means we could bring 2 new strikers in, maybe a loan and a perm, we should consider loaning Brewster out in this window if we can.The clock is ticking on Brewsters contract. I hope Wilder thinks with his head. There is no way he should stay. A very expensive mistake.
Did you else see Wilder stop and crouch down face in hands as he was walking off the pitch? He did seem very emotional yesterday.Every games emotional for me I’m only watching but I’ve left games at the end or just watching on tv absolutely knackered![]()

That's what any manager daft enough to want Brewster would be doing GB, crouching down and sobbing!Did you else see Wilder stop and crouch down face in hands as he was walking off the pitch? He did seem very emotional yesterday.
The last 3 words are very relevant. If it means we could bring 2 new strikers in, maybe a loan and a perm, we should consider loaning Brewster out in this window if we can.
Definitely, and it goes without saying we’d have to pay most of his wages, but at least he’s managed to avoid a repetition of his serious injury so there may be a club or two prepared to take a punt. He needs to understand it’s also in his best interest and that he may need to try to rebuild his career if necessary bottom up. There’s no way he can hack it as a striker in the top 2 tiers as it stands and the way we are using him in midfield just doesn’t work. He needs a new start and we need to stop trying to find a roll for him because of his fee. It’s been a lousy investment and throwing more time and money at it to try and make it better is just stupid (IMO)The last 3 words are very relevant.
Zero chance of that I am afraid. We have to be patient a few months. If it means we could bring 2 new strikers in, maybe a loan and a perm, we should consider loaning Brewster out in this window if we can.
I wouldn’t say there’s zero chance by any stretch but we’ll know soon enough. Let’s get BBD in and take it from there.Zero chance of that I am afraid. We have to be patient a few months.
Hopefully. with a couple in and others regaining form & fitness, we will next see Brewster in his best position-on the Town Hall steps as his last hurrah.Zero chance of that I am afraid. We have to be patient a few months.
I think a few teams would take him, but lower down the league and how would they pay his wages? surely, we would not ask a loan fee,I wouldn’t say there’s zero chance by any stretch but we’ll know soon enough. Let’s get BBD in and take it from there.
I don’t think there’s any chance of a fee for him WB. Like I said in the other post, we’d have to continue to pay him most of his wages, we’d just get a few thousand back in that’s all. It’s mainly about getting him out of the club and playing at a level he can hopefully handle then he can take it from there. It’s a shame for the club and for him, injuries have screwed him, but I think it’s pointless Wilder hoping that he’ll suddenly come good for us after 5 years. It says everything that we need to know when we lose both our other senior strikers and he still can’t get a start upfront, and when he does come on he’s playing in the middle of the park in a position most of us just can’t figure. It’s like a roll has being created for him in the hope it’ll suddenly work and he’ll shine, but in reality he shouldn’t be anywhere near a team hoping for promotion to the PL. I think the time’s right now to put a line under him. Best for both parties.I think a few teams would take him, but lower down the league and how would they pay his wages? surely, we would not ask a loan fee,
