Sainsbury sell their black garlic bulbs.

I asked the company if the health benefits were the same as the normal fresh bulbs, they answered (very quickly)

The health benefits are the same, or you could say a little better.
The anti-oxidants nearly double once aged and black garlic is water rather than fat soluble so you could also say it is more bio available.
