Birmingham v Swans

After that brilliant comeback win against West Brom we’re back on the road again for the next match.
It’s the Swans third match in six days when we visit Lee Bowyer’s Birmingham on Saturday.
Just 6 miles from our previous opponents West Brom’s Hawthorns ground is Birmingham’s St.Andrews 30k capacity stadium.
Founded 146 years ago in 1875 the ‘Blues’ have spent 57 of those years in the top tier of English football, but have languished in the Championship since 2010.
Birmingham are presently on a bad run and haven’t scored a goal in their last 6 matches, conceding 9 goals, 0W 2D 4L.
Swansea have scored 10 goals, conceding 7 goals, 3W 2D 1L.
On Wed night the Blues ground out a 0-0 draw at in form Huddersfield, ending a run of three straight defeats.
20/10 Huddersfield 0 Birmingham 0
15/10 West Brom 1 Birmingham 0
2/10 Birmingham 0 Forest 3
28/9 QPR 2 Birmingham 0
25/9 Birmingham 0 Preston 0
18/9 Peterborough 3 Birmingham 0
Can we make it three wins in a week?

With the initial 1500 ticket allocation sold out and more made available the Jack Army will be out in force in Birmingham today.
Nothing like a couple of wins to get the fans motivated again.

47’ we’re down 1-0, Troy Deeney right footed shot, it’s all Birmingham
First goal for Birmingham in 7 games, Swans a shambles second half they’ve almost conceded another two goals, lowly Birmingham routing us.

FT: 2-1
Back down to Earth with a huge bang.
After the Lord Mayors show and all that.
It was a bitterly disappointing performance, only Hamer keeping the score down against a rampant Birmingham.
This against a team who had forgotten how to score and gained their first win in eight games.

Swans 1 shot on target, that was the goal.
How pointless it is having 74% possession if you’re unable to do anything with it.
