Birds and Wildlife in your garden

I plugged this a few pages ago. I use it all the time, sometimes a bit odd as uses American names so told me a wasp was a yellowjacket. I'm up to 222 different species observed without really trying
Fair enough, it seems good! Only used it a few times but it is pretty helpful.
 
Not actually seen in my garden, but saw the creature below whilst walking the dogs along the Fosse Dyke tow-path near the Pyewipe. Anyone know what it is? A Lizard of some sort, I guess?

Not been on the thread before but really need to let you know about an App. that has my daughter giddy with excitement (apologies if it has been covered previously).

It's called Merlin and automatically picks up and identifies bird calls in the background. She may not have seen many of the actual birds but never ceases to be amazed by the species all around her.
