One Bloody Number
Anyone ever done it?
I'm tempted to have £250's worth and see what happens.
Basically it's betting on the outcome of a stock and whether it will go up or down over a given timeframe (usually 5 minutes).
They call it an investment opportunity.
In reality it's gambling, and there's talk of firms soon having to apply for a gambling liscence to do it.
The only difference between this and betting red/black on a roulette wheel as far as I can tell is that there are sophisticated computer programs (or robots) that you can use to predict if a stock will go up or down, and these advertise that they average 80% profit return.
I'm not stuid enough to think its a sure thing. As I said its a gamble, but I like a gamble so I might give it a go.
Just wondering if anyone else has.
