Big money and loyalty.

What is the situation with Danny Rose regarding his contract- has he signed a new one- got some time to run on an old one? His situation concerns me because Man City have been making noises along the line of Rose being a priority target.
Allowing even one of our current A team to leave would be a backward move; so should City approach him- and they could no doubt offer him the earth financially; I wonder would he stay loyal to spurs or would he instead do as Ashley Cole did when he moved across London for a sack of gold? :21:

Footballers offered .2 - 3 times more money , would they stay loyal , go on take a wild guess

So what's your guess - you haven't said what you think you ******* melt? Personally I think that their are individuals that would stay loyal even if they were offered double or even treble their current salary; the key is to be sure that the said individual is happy with his pay. If the market says Danny should be on £125K per week then he shoukd be getting it here at Tottenham. What we pay Harry Kane is a Joke and no doubt a money making ploy when he upstairs decides to sell.

footballers like any large group of people react differently when offered the same circumstance. Fact is many move for money and greater chance for silverware... It's actually now a rare situation because our players might believe in our project as much as Man Utd, Chelsea or Man City's at this time. Young squad, English core, champions league football. There's plenty of reasons to stay but money could still be the deciding factor.

Where do you suggest we get the money from to pay Danny rose 125k per week?

That's not really what I'm saying; I know 125K is silly money and only the mafia ilk can pay it, but 30k for DR is an insult- it needs at the very least doubling to £60k pw so based on his current situation we are effectively paying his tax- and some: it works in Italy- it keeps players happy to stay!

Belief in the project is key. If the players don't believe then I can't believe so I'll stick to non league football. Absolutely I'm sure that the current A team believe but they are piss poor paid (in market terms) and if something isn't done about that and done in a hurry- we can forget the so called project - the very project mee93 , that easily finds the money to pay the best players the best rates.
