Going here later this month to climb Snowdon - again. Though if its pissing it down I wont bother.

So does anyone else know what else is around the area to do if it should piss it down? :14:

I'd rather do it whilst its dry and a clear day mate. Pointless going up there to look over a load of cloud.
 
Absolutely nothing, the local Cafe owner hates the English so why bother spending your money there.
 
Beautiful part of the country Barney.

Plenty of things for you to do but it depends on what you like doing.

Places like Porthmadog and Criccieth aren't to far away and they are nice seaside places to walk round . Also a few railway trips worth doing (Welsh Highland , Ffestiniog etc.)
 
I trip to Portmerion is a good shout, especially if you have, as I do, fond memories of the old Patrick McGoohan series The Prisoner.

I have don't the lamberis one though mate... I think. Is that the one where it meets the train?
 
when I went two years ago I done the Crib goch climb. whilst doing it, this bloke, must have been in his 60's ran it.
