Balotelli

Spooks

Vital Champions League
Looks like he'll end up at the BinDippers.

Anyone particularly bothered? How do you think he'll do with their style of play?

Conflicted, will be willing him to fail but am still fond of the idiot.

Could cause them problems with both him and Sturridge preferring that central role.

Great player and can be dynamite on his day, but sometimes his powder gets wet or he can't be bothered today and the press follow him everywhere and he makes your club look stupid. He does daft things on the park but he can score goals, would I re-sign him ? I really don't know.

He's on the media darlings, so of course now he'll get protection from the officials, which is something he never got with us. I'm a little nervous, to be quite honest, because he's still world class and capable of changing games with little effort.

Mixed feelings here too. He's great entertainment and he'd be pool's headache, instead of ours. Just hope he doesn't sign in time for Monday. I feel the need to confess I have a "why always me" top.

Mourinho said he was unmanageable and 3 clubs later, Mourinho has not been proven wrong. Milan can't wait to see the back of him, says it all really. Still, at £16m, he's probably worth the risk. Only £4m more expensive than Shane Long.

Nice fella, decent footballer who never had the mental capacity to turn into the world class player he should have been, and I look forward to him causing untold heartbreak over on merseyside with his attitude problems and off-field antics.

I can see the paper headlines when he steps out of line for the first time. Something about Suarez & Liverpool never learning from their mistakes... Seriously, do they not understand the meaning of a bad egg or a rotten apple?

Is he really unmanageable, or does everyone have that perception because the managers he's played for have been egotistical and clashed with him? He's chastised for everything that he does, even though he certainly hasn't done anything off the field to warrant that (unlike a certain Liverpool captain who punched out a DJ...) outside of a friend setting fireworks off in his house (which he paid for the damage).

You might have a point if the same managers were falling out with a number of different players. Were they?

Mancini fell out with Tevez, Balotelli that we know of, also minor spats with Dzeko and Kompany if I recall...

Did Mourinho or Allegri?

Hard to see past Balotelli being the problem to be fair...

We all know the problem....

...IF Mario decides to be grow up....Liverpool will have bagged a Rolls Royce of a striker for £16m.

Personally, and despite the fact that I wish we'd never sold him, I think the Kop's initial enthusiasm after the first flurry of goals will be dampened when they realise that working hard to gain possession and finding space doesn't come naturally to the guy.

Interesting to see Rogers approach to this if it goes ahead.
I wonder what the reaction will be of a former BBC pundit usually seen in the stands at Anfield  :rolly:

It's a bit of a pity that he's gone from MOTD, I'd love to hear what he has to say about this CITK.
