Bale to Man Un-United? I doubt it.

A hat trick for Real Madrid under Zidane? With Rafa the gaffer sacked and a change of direction upwards for the Spanish Giants, will the new manager change things now and sell Bale? I doubt it. With Man United's future under speculation, I can't see Bale wanting to leave just yet and I'm not convinced that he will WANT to go there personally. Zidane knows quality in a player, he was quality himself.

I hope Bale stays there until he's ready to come back to the Premiership and then he will want to come back to Spurs, I think. I hope so, We nurtured him to become what he is and I hope he pays our club the right tribute and returns to his roots.

He won't come back to spurs unless we are actually championships. He will be reals main man for years to come after ronaldo leaves.

One day, Taricco - one day! Great goals last night - Ronaldo's reaction - what a larf!!!

It would be 'Roy of the Rovers' stuff if he did come back to us but unfortunately I can't see it happening.

I can't see him leaving Madrid unless there is a major fall out. Uncertainty at Chelsea and United being a total mess, what incentive is there to go to those unless he has a serious fall out with Madrid and I can't see that happening under Zidane and certainly whilst Perez in president

We can't afford to pay bale what he is worth now. He could easily get more than what he is on at madrid and im guessing its close to 150k a week.

seen it reported as 200k-300k depending on source. Assume its £200k salary and the rest is endorsements?

I think we could afford it when you consider how many big earners we let go. Paulinho, Ade, Soldado between them would have been on 200k and I know Under Armour were very keen for us to keep bale and were prepared to pay a large chunk of his salary so I'm sure we could get some sort of similar offer if it were feasible. Add to that he'd sell a bucketload of shirts and he'd be recouping quickly.

Sadly I don't see him leaving Madrid or realistically wanting to come back here. He didn't really stay any longer than he had to. He speaks fondly of Spurs but no moreso than he does of Southampton. He had half a season of spectacular form and left. If we win the league and qualify for the champions league maybe he'll think he could stand a chance of getting the Ballon D'Or with us but I don't think finishing in the top 4 or even winning Europa or FA Cup and qualifying for the ECL would be enough to persuade a player of his ambitions.

I can't see Bale moving anywhere for at least another two transfer windows as REAL MADRID and ATHLETICO have been given transfer window bans by FIFA. Hah! Announced today. Awwwww.
