I would expect the Ltd Company that calls itself Reform, to attract a high % of votes in the next General Election.
Yet because of the First Past the Post electoral system, all those votes will result in very few MPs Reform Co Ltd.
This will only reinforce opinions such as; Westminster does not represent 'us'. The sort of thinking that led to voting for Brexit.
The current system really only works in a 2 party system. (Liberal/Whig v Tory/Whig, Labour v Conservatives)
This no longer exists.
Resent will continue to fester in the country, Regional Mayor's will not be enough to resolve the perceived and real lack of representation.
Those votes for Reform or Green should be represented at Westminster.
However I am not sure that PR will give us the solution.
