Bad Actors

Ray Winstone anyone? Diamond geezer as Henry VIII FFS!

William Shatner (always outshone by Nimoy in Star Trek)

Apart from the leads virtually every supporting actor in spaghetti westerns BUT, somehow, that adds to the enjoyment.

As actor covers all genders these days how about Keira (Twice) Knightley? A whole career built on a pout.

You mean the old
Ellow da mon .
And
I theeenk I’m goin da die.
I love all that, particularly the German caricatures.
For you Tommy, ze war iz over 😂
"War"?
Vat ist this "war"? Donnerwetter, ein Pritischer!

My favorite,
So Meester Pond...
Bond. Dammit. It's Bond.
Quite so Meester Pond.

Olivia Colman - controversial!

She has an Oscar so I must be wrong ........ I can never see the character, only Olivia Colman playing the character.

I saw Mel Gibson in a Australian film called Tim, he played the part of a young man who was mentally challenged, he played the part very, very well.
It was only after that I realized it was just type casting, sorry that's a joke.

Any American actor attempting a British accent, Don Cheadle in Ocean's eleven and the bloke who plays Daphne's brother in Frasier for example.
My wife is a great film buff and fully agrees. But the fact is it is not really the actors fault if they are miss cast.Few actors can play any role.

Does anyone else find non specialist actors ofetn stick out like a sore thumb. Peter Ustinov and Stephen Fry have both amused in light comedy and have a host of skills but serious acting was not in either of their lockers. Any half way serious film and those two stick out like a sore thumb, utterly unconvincing and unable to transcend their famous, real life personas. I am sure there are many other examples.

Yes. Brian Blessed. Omg. In fairness he now seems to be into self parody.
