Away Day Ticket Scheme Changed - With Much Anger Ensuing

Maybe now fans/supporters will stop believing the bullshit these club owners come out with and judge on actions instead of pretty words.
Remember, owners don't give a flying fuck for their 'customers' or what they think. They see fans/supporters as bottomless wells to be run dry of their hard earned cash.

Well I missed 5 away games last season and I suspect I will go to a similar number this season.

I just hope that my booking history criteria is not compromised by the new scheme , but looking at the way it works than I suspect it counts for little.

Knowing the strength of our away support we will still sell out.

I have renewed our scheme but it is a really flawed system they have come up with. I hope it is a matter of the the usual left to the last minute but it looks like some marketing guy who has now upset by definition the most loyal fans. There has been no consultation at all I am almost positive.

I am not sure where to start with the issues with it but I agree with what has been said and it has really far retching effects on those fans who spend very good money and travel up and down the country with the club. It is going to cause issues all year and will be another divide between the club and the fans.

What the hell is the head of ticketing doing. She must understand the problems it is going to cause.

I haven't been to an away game for about 4 years unless you count several trips to Wembley.
Not too sure what this is all about but sounds like the people who have away "season tickets" want a monopoly on it ?

ie I'm a better fan than you bit again , which I've been accused of in the past for being able to go every game and fortunate enough to locally . (not that living in Smethwick is fortunate !)

Anyway I'm going back to away games at Wigan and Blackburn , as I have booking refs with them :throw:

Never been part of the away scheme and to be honest I can’t really understand the issue.. is it that they charging fans to be part of the scheme or that new fans are allowed to join as well?

I think it is because the booking history on which the priority windows are based wasn't thought to count for anything and that people who had been to one game would get the same priority as someone who had been to 10. Looking at the explanation I don't think that is the case .

Some clarification of the scheme here.

May not be as bad as first thought , and it seems there was some consultation.

There wasn't. Not with the Fan Consultation Group OR (with two reps from the FCG on it) the Away Ticket Consultation Group.

They probably consulted with themselves and deemed it appropriate to bullshit us all.

The world we live in today - the likes of Trump and Brexit have made it acceptable to tell bare-faced lies and pass it off as fact.

It might well say it sirdennis, but that didn't happen.

I've contacted the relevant people to ask the club why they have said that and if they will clarify who they did consult with, because it wasn't FCG or the Away Supporters Group.

It reflects badly on those of us who are involved in those and I'll not stand for them lying on top of being incompetent.

Any truth in the rumour that Hull won't let us have any tickets unless we pay up front for them?

Good grief, be amazing if so. Blimey! Err... not sure if there are EFL rules to prevent that being a demand or not.
