Had a quick look through 'The Official History' and cannot see anything post 1959/60 anywhere near 10,734 average. Even 1975/6 was about 8,700 ?
Come on folks the massive Coventry City had to do something to ensure they didn't finish behind the country yokels in the attendance figures.I thought I had misremembered that! Clearly not.....
Arsenal do it all the time looking at some their crowds this season!Yes i remember seeing that supposed 28000 crowd woth loads of empty seats all around the stadium. Why cant the Lge insist crowds are given as per the actual crowd?? Its what always do....
Crewe were another one who counted people who werent thete.
