It seems that both Crystal Palace and West Brom have had bids accepted.

It's now down to him which way he goes.

I suspect he'll plump for CP.

In any event, good luck to him - I still believe he'll make a top CB and has plenty of improvement left in him.

Just a pity that Toby and Vert are just too good for him.
 
Like you I rate him. As an out and out defender he is pretty decent. I think Poch didn't like the fact he struggles to shift weight.

I think the only reason he's going to be sold is because of how uncomfortable he is in such a high-line. He's a very decent defender but needs consistent game time badly. It's a shame to see him go if he does but it is better for himself if he does.
 
Liked the player. Bit of an edge to him and he filled in well when Jan was out.

I rate him, and felt he had a future here, but he does seem to have a weight issue though.

I remember how insanely pleased he looked when we bought him, and how crushed he looked when we then bought Alderweireld. He has all the attributes and just needs to be coached by a genius manager with a talent for improving players to stratospheric levels and who favours youth............
